Garage Door Repair

Most garage door faults come down to a handful of parts under a lot of load. We find the part that actually failed rather than treating the symptom, and tell you plainly whether it is worth repairing or replacing.

What's involved

How we handle it

  • Full diagnostic of door, track, hardware and opener
  • Roller, hinge, bearing and bracket replacement
  • Track realignment, and replacement where track is bent or crimped
  • Cable replacement and re-spooling drums that have unwound
  • Section and panel repair or replacement where the door is otherwise sound
  • Re-balancing the door after any part that carries load is changed
  • A straight answer on repair versus replacement

When to call

Signs you need this

If any of these sound like your door, it is worth a call before it turns into a bigger job.

The door is off its track

Stop using it. A door off track can drop. Leave it where it is and call us.

It closes then immediately reverses

Usually a blocked or misaligned photo-eye, a force setting that has drifted, or an obstruction in the track.

It has gone loud, or it judders

Worn rollers and dry, failing bearings are the usual cause. Grinding and banging are worth acting on early.

One side lifts before the other

The door is out of balance — often a cable problem. It puts the whole system under uneven load.

Around the clock

Door stuck, spring broken, or car shut in?

Garage doors do not fail at convenient times. Call and we will get yours safe and secure.
