The door is hanging crooked or off track
Do not operate it and do not park under it. A door in that state can come down.
A cable has snapped
The door will pull to one side and jam. Running the opener from here bends track and panels.
Someone could get hurt
If the door is unstable and there are children or pets in the house, treat it as urgent.
