What's involved
How we handle it
- Help choosing between chain, belt and wall-mount drives for your garage
- Belt drives where the garage sits under a bedroom and noise matters
- Wall-mount openers where headroom is tight or you want the ceiling clear
- Installation, rail assembly and secure mounting to solid framing
- Travel limits and force settings adjusted and tested
- Photo-eye safety sensors aligned and reversal tested
- Remotes, exterior keypads and wall consoles set up and paired
When to call
Signs you need this
If any of these sound like your door, it is worth a call before it turns into a bigger job.
The motor runs but the door doesn't move
Typically a stripped drive gear or a broken trolley — the motor is fine, the link to the door is not.
It only works when you hold the wall button
That is the safety sensors telling you something. It usually means the photo-eyes are misaligned, dirty or faulty.
Remotes work intermittently or not at all
Could be the remote, the antenna, or radio interference — worth diagnosing before replacing the whole unit.
The opener is loud enough to hear through the house
An older chain drive under a bedroom is a common complaint. A belt drive is markedly quieter.
